Faliero Sarti was a designer and textile visionary. In 1949, he founded his company as a small weaving mill with brilliant ideas. In the 1950s, he made fabrics for the best haute couture and prêt-à-porter labels and processed natural fibres such as wool, cashmere, angora, silk and linen. Over the years, the company specialised increasingly in the finest, custom-designed scarves and shawls, and thus developed a highly respected international reputation.
Since the death of the founder Faliero Sarti in 1985, his two sons Roberto and Paolo have managed this exemplary family company in the spirit of their father, cleverly uniting the exquisite craftsmanship with innovations. Sarti scarves and shawls are produced by hand on looms that are more than 100 years old, and each piece has its own soul. Monica Sarti, head designer and granddaughter of the founder, personally selects all the fabrics in order to fulfil the high quality standards of this sensitive family business. The love of top class design, premium quality and natural materials link us to this fascinating company and its exceptional products. Once you have discovered the magic of a Sarti scarf, you will never forget it.
